The leadership gathering for women in endurance sports
Build Your Brand - Grow Your Influence - Drive Your Impact
November 11-13, 2022 - Tempe, AZ
In November of 2019 we gathered in Tempe to dream about the future of women in endurance sports and to celebrate as a community. We didn’t know that within a few months, the whole world would change. The events of the past years have shone a light on how the status quo (aka the male domination) in the endurance sports industry can no longer stand.

It's time to build a new course
As a part of our new course, we’ve expanded beyond triathlon. At the Outspoken Women in Endurance Sports Summit, we’ll bring together business owners, industry professionals, community leaders, and advocates to:
Build your business
Build your voice
Build your path
Build your influence
Build your community

Do I belong here?
If you care about women or diversity in endurance sports, the Outspoken Summit is the place for you! Whether you're a business owner, an industry professional, or a community leader, we’ve designed this summit to give you tangible tools to reach your goals. It’s not a weekend full of rah-rah talks (although we love to rah, so we’ll have some), it’s a gathering for you to connect with the right information and right people to succeed. At the summit you'll:
- Learn strategies to help you grow your business
- Ways to build your influence and career in the endurance industry
- Leave with a network of other women committed to helping you succeed
This event is open to any person who identifies as a woman including cis, trans, non-binary, or any significantly female-identifying persons.

The Inclusive Sports Leadership Academy (ISLA)
Nov 8-11, 2022
Receive 6 USAT CEU credits by attending!
Brought to you by Shift Sports, ISLA is the first professional development experience of its kind in endurance sport and fills a gap in endurance sports leadership professional development opportunities. It will bring together endurance sport athletes, coaches, and industry professionals to explore diversity, equity, representation and inclusion in endurance sport.
This two-day immersive educational opportunity designed to support a small cohort (10-15) of endurance sports leaders. ISLA Fellows will explore and reflect on their identities and how histories of exclusion reverberate in today’s sporting environment. Fellows will also develop Individual Allyship Plans and strategies to interrupt both overt and covert exclusionary practices.
ISLA Fellows can hold any role in endurance sports - coach, race director, industry professional, athlete etc., - and must be committed to becoming an institutional changemaker in their respective areas of influence. To apply or learn more visit the Shift Sports website.
